The struggles I face living as a transgendered individual in Denmark.
Currently I am stuck with 2 different legal identities. America recognizes me, but Denmark refuses. This leaves me in a tough spot when it comes to paying taxes, opening a bank account, or traveling.
I'm taking a stand against 2 requirements the health board enforces:
- Being diagnosed as having a mental condition.
- The castration law, which is an old law for sex offenders back in the 1930's.
